The proposed improvements at Ponape International Airport entail a 700 foot ultimate extension to the runway, improvements to the existing air terminal building and parking area, fire-crash facilities, paving, security fencing, and shore protection. |

The runway extends is proposed to be completed in two phases: 400 feet in Phase I and 300 feet in phase II at an undefined date. The air terminal and parking improvements are proposed to be completed during phase II. It is envisioned that these proposed. |
