In a process of more than 800 trails over a period of two years, facing the shameless sophistry of many war criminals and variety of views from judges of other countries, Mei Ru'ao, together with his colleagues, argued strongly on just grounds, overcame many unfavorable factors with their own wisdom and persistence and finally won victory in this trial of the century with seven grade-A war criminals being put to death.
