Eyes in the night - Much to Norma Lawry's dismay, her one-time boyfriend - has been actor Paul Gerente is dating her seventeen-year old daugther Barbara. Wehn Paul is found murdered, NOrma recruits the help of blind dtective Duncan MacLain rather than go to the police. But when they return to the scene of the crime, they discover the actor's body is mysteriously missing. Nothing the scent of violets in the room. MacLain uses this small clue to uncover a conspiracy far greater than simple murder. -- The Kennel murder case - A classic detective film serves up an intricate murder mystery with plenty of supects. When much-despised Archer Coe is discovered dead in a locked room, cops think it's a case of suicide. Detective Philo Vance believes differently, however, and his suspicions are confirmed when the coroner discovers that Coe's death resulted from trauma inflicted by a blunt instrument, stabbing, and a gun shot.
