| NOTES: |
The poems which first made Frost famous were based on his experiences as a farmer in New England. This program takes us through those woods on a snowy evening, the birches, mending walls and pastures, down the road not taken. We see Frost, who was also a teacher and something of a platform performer, reading his poems and telling his audience how they, like the man who was surprised to find that he had been speaking prose, will find their lives filled with poetry. |
