NOTES: |
One season soaks and the next scorches in Australia's rugged northeast. Man-eating crocodiles and crocodile-eating men, flying foxes, frogs, and fish eagles struggle to survive in this uneasy land. Ancient aborigines survived by drawing on a deep understanding of Australia's native plants and animals. But when Europeans arrived, they brought with them their technology and their own domestic animals, altering the balance of nature. Today modern Australians are planing a future where man can live once again in harmony with this strange and beautiful land. |
