Distributing fresh chilled fish from a place of abundance, such as the South Pacific, to markets where the demand for fresh seafood can not be met locally requires particular care and the use of specialised distribution methods. Many of these markets are a long way from where the fish are caught. The only way to reach these markets so that the fresh fish arrives in perfect condition is by plane. This video has been made to demonstrate how fresh, chilled fish should be handled, processed, prepared, packaged, stored and transported so that it can be successfully air freighted to distant markets all over the world. |
