"The project area is located on the north west corner of Sokehs Island. It includes the mangrove area, public land, south of Dolehtik island and the private land of Karl Kohler at Ipwal point. The request for clearance of 200 x 200 foot area in the mangrove by APSCO, Pohnpei, to accomodate the rock crushing machinery, was accomplished with specific recommendations attached. Ipwal point, specifically Karl Kohler land was completely surface surveyed and specific recommendations were given. The following report is the result of two weeks of field investigations conducted in late December 1992 and early January 1993." |
