Shows the lives of refugees (Chinese) who were driven from their home Cambodia, by the Vietnamese (communist) in 1979. Some headed to the jungle. For those on boat, some headed to Malaysia, West, Southeast Asia, Philippines, Hongkong, but most head west across the culf of Thailand. These people, some of their families murdered by pirates, separated, raped, rubbed, killed by storm and destroyed. About 100,000 of them who driven by boat did not make it. They try all what they can do to survive, raising and educating their children. Polio, Tuberclosis and Malemia has been also common with them. |
