NOTES: |
This program looks at how crystal methamphetamine, or "ice," has impacted the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Economic growth during the 1980's brought development to the CNMI and a new wealthy class, transforming it into a multicultural society. "Ice" arrived among this new affluence, and by 1993, one third of the families had one or more members using "ice." Several people, including children, relate how "ice" has affected the community. |
