The Main Volume of the XII WFC Proceedings was originally published only on CD-ROM. This Synthesis is published in print by FAO to disseminate the key contents of the Main Volume more widely. It contains the Introduction, the Programme, the Final Statement and the Conclusions and Recommendations of the Congress, as well as the statements given during the opening and closing ceremonies.
