A documentary film on leprosy victims in Micronesia. It gives fact of how people in the FSM reacted to a disease that strikes some members in the community. The film compares the HIV victims as the lepers in the Pacific. The history of the HIV disease was also discussed in the video. Because of the contagious of these diseases, separation was done to some of the members due lack of skills and medication. But when medication and skills were taught and given, they were treated right again and were allowed to live with families. |
